How I feel about the world, and especially the internet in the past 24 hours.

The recent iCloud hack is a disgusting insight into the victim-shaming, sexist and perverse world we live in.

Public figures have a right to privacy like the rest of the world, and if they don’t consent to their entire digital life (or otherwise) being shared, then it is a crime to do so.

Whether it is your opinion that they should be more careful and not take pictures, that is irrelevant and only further fuels the argument that innocent people should behave a certain way in order to avoid being violated.

I know I’m not the only person saying this, but the more it is said and shared, then hopefully more people will realise that even viewing/sharing these pictures, or like Buzzfeed or TheLadBible- publicising this invasion as a naughty piece of gossip -is adding to the dehumanisation of celebrities/women and other victims of sexual crime.
